Safety Charter Word for Word

AUTCO believes that incident and injury free construction is obtainable. As a company, we embrace a culture that empowers our people to take whatever action is necessary to ensure a safe work environment. We have programs and procedures that cover every aspect of safety on a construction project.

Our safety plan focuses on personal behaviors and making intelligent choices. It includes ergonomic programs that teach us to use the right tools, and subcontractor plans so we can include everyone in our pre-task safe work planning. Key components of working safely are pre-planning, communication and training.

We are successful because of the time and effort we put into per-task planning, daily tool box meetings, daily site mitigation audits, employee safety newsletters, suggestion boxes and site safety committee meetings. As a continued investment and commitment, AUTCO also provides over 90 hours of in-house safety training for all craft and supervision.

“We are successful because of the time and effort we put into pre-task planning.”
